So here is the master plan for 2011:
Together:
- Bible (with Dad): Greenleaf Guide to Old Testament History
- Catechism: continuing with Training Hearts, Teaching Minds, by Starr Meade.
- History: continuing Story of the World Volume 3: Early Modern Times by Susan Wise Bauer
- Science: continuing Exploring Creation wth Botany by Jeannie Fulbright
- Latin: This is new for us! We are using the Latin Primer by Martha Wilson
- Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night's Dream - first reading Edith Nesbit's version, then the unabridged version.
- Composer & Artist Study: Harmony Art Mom's Vermeer & Haydn mini unit, along with biographies of Haydn from Joyous Stories from Music's Wonderland and Music Makers.
- Art: continue weekly practical art lessons with friends, based loosely on the book, Discovering the Great Artists. During the summer term we have been combining these lessons with some Nature Study.
- Copywork using Catechism, Bible & Poetry
- A Beka Grammar & Composition II/III
- IEW writing lessons
- A Beka Arithmetic 6/7
- History outlining using the Kingfisher History Encyclopaedia (supplementing SOTW)
- personal reading using books from the AO Year 6/7 lists
- personal Bible reading & notetaking using the E100 plan
- Copywork using Catechism, Bible & Poetry
- A Beka Language 3/Grammar & Composition I
- IEW writing lessons
- A Beka Artihmetic 6
- History outlining using KHE
- personal reading using books from the AO Year 6/7 lists
- personal Bible reading & notetaking using the E100 plan
- Copywork using Catechism, Bible & Poetry
- First Language Lessons for the Well-trained Mind, Level 2/3

It's so refreshing to find another kiwi HS blogger, especially one who appears to be meandering down a very similar home educating pathway to the one we're on(CM, WTM, & the Bluedorns, TTT).
